YouTube is the biggest social media platform for video. It is one of the few social media platforms from the mid-2000s still being used today. Before YouTube, there were sites such as Dailymotion and Ebaums world. Finding videos on the websites was easy. But it didn't give people the freedom and simplicity of uploading videos to the internet. However, when YouTube was launched, you could upload whatever you wanted to the site with simplicity.
